Vintage: 2019 started later than recent Coonawarra vintages with good rainfall in the leadup to harvest, followed by a warmer season than usual. Riesling grapes were picked in optimal condition with vibrant flavours and varietal definition.

Vinification:

This elegant Riesling was cool fermented in stainless steel to retain and enhance pure fruit aromatics. The wine was then aged on lees for eight months with occasional lees stirring to provide texture and complexity.

Colour: Pale straw with green hues.

Nose: Aromatic floral and fresh citrus notes with a hint of orange blossom and spice.

Palate: A classic palate of zesty lemon,lime and green apple, balanced by a fine backbone of fresh acidity and crisp, dry 

finish.

Food Matching: Whole baked snapper with chilli and ginger, cider glazed pork chops or barbecued seafood with a squeeze of lime. 

Cellaring Potential: Enjoyable to drink now, or with optimal cellaring, will age gracefully for up to 15 years.
