A shoemaker, also known as a cordwainer, lived at the bridge over Snobs Creek. In the late 1880s he passed on and the creek would forever be named after his most important tool, the snob, the small anvil used to shape the toe end of the boot.
The Cordwainer, a balanced wine showing bright fruit textures of melon with intense stone fruit aromatics from characteristically small bunches. Integrated french oak and lees contact extends the palate and creates a seductive cool climate wine.
